Perfect foundation under the snowflakes

Hello Ladies,

and happy snow day! Today, I wanted to share my winter foundation routine and tips on how to keep your skin looking flawless under the snow.

My first step, is liquid foundation. I don't apply any primer with this foundation, because the foundation itself works really well. I use the CLINIQUE EVEN BETTER foundation and I really love the fact that it is light, silky, smooth and it also has a SPF 15. I apply this foundation with my hands, and it's the best way I found to apply the product to keep a natural and smooth finish.

Then to set the foundation, I always apply a powder, and it keeps the makeup in place all day. This winter I really love the L'OREAL MINERAL LUMINIZING POWDER, in a pink translucent tone. It gives me the perfect glow for these snowy days, and also adds a perfect finish to my foundation. I apply this powder with a big powder brush for a natural effect.

With these products I don't need to do any touch ups during the day and my skin  looks flawless all day. I only touch up if I play in the snow with my kiddies :)

Flawless Lashes

Hello Ladies and happy valentines day!!!!!!
Today's post will be about keeping your lady-like lashes looking flawless. So keep your false lashes away for a while and start showing off your natural ladylashes:)





Step one: Always remove your makeup before going to bed.
This is the most important beauty step for keeping young, healthy and beautiful lashes. Keeping the old mascara overnight will make your lashes fall off easly and cause breakage.

step two : use a gentle and effecient eye makeup remover with a cotton pad, and rub gently the product to remove all of the makeup. If you use some waterproof liner or mascara, use an oil base eye makeup remover. I love the one from Clinique, take the day off, very gentle and does the job pertfectly.

step three : before bedtime use a lash serum to help your lashes grow longer and stronger. I love, the l'Oreal lash serum, use it like a liner with the tip and then put a coat of serum like using a mascara on your lashes.

step four : To finalise your makeup, mascara is a must. Don't forget to change it every 3 months to keep it clean. Then choose the colour of your choice to enhance your eyes. Put a mascara base before using your msscara, the base will nourish, hydrate and condition your lashes to keep them flawless. Then apply mascara, with a gentle zig zag movement to create more volume.



And voila!!!!

Nail polish review, Revlon Elegant (colour 380)

Hello Ladies, and welcome to my first nail polish review. This post is very exciting for me because I love nail polish. Trust me, I was a trainer for mani/pedi's at my last job, so I know alot about nails and how to work with them. 

So today's review is about Revlon's nail polish in colour Elegant (380). This is a new colour that i've purchased in the begining of winter, and I thought it was a beautiful, neutral colour to wear and the name of it is very reprentative, it looks absolutely elegant. 

I love this nail polish for so many reasons. The price is very cheap (only 3.99$ can on sale), the colour is stunning, can suit every skin tones, it lasts for a couple of days and it dries very quickly. 

The only con that I have about this polish, is that the brush is a little tricky for the colour. Because the colour is matte and beige, usualy the brush should be a little bit thicker and larger so you can cover a large part of your nail without moving the wet polish too much. The brush leaves a little bit of it's mark if you don't put enough polish on it. 

Here are the steps to follow to wear this polish like a pro:

1- The first coat: apply a thin layer of polish to cover your nails, and trust me it will look bad. Let dry.

2- The second coat: put a thicker coat of polish ( not too thick), and be careful to not use the brush over and over again on your nails, this will cause imperfections. Let dry.

3- Top coat: use a glossy top coat to make your nails elegant and glamorous. I love the CND top coat for a professionnal finishing touch!
